#etsy #art Exquisite Pino oil painting at amour4vintage.etsy.com for $1000. Very surreal and poignant painting.: Gorgeous Pino signed oil painting. This is an exquisite painting. The colors are vivid and the painting is much more poignant in person. 

Very surreal. 

Mediterranean landscape village scene. The landscape scene is quite reminiscent of the villages from the Italian Riviera to the Amalfi Coast. From Italian towns like Ventimiglia to Portofino to Naples. Just imagine waking up and looking out onto the majestic Mediterranean Sea. This painting transplants one to those beautiful villages.

I did some research on the artist who signed the painting. It's stated that Pino is now deceased and he was an illustrator for romance novels. Majority of the Pino paintings were of women. There were only very minute amount of landscape paintings which makes this one quite rare.

I don't state this a oil painting on canvas or stretch canvas because I cannot readily identify the surface. The material is similar to either denim or linen.
