This is a Sphinx made in Japan cup.
The time period is approximately late 40's to 50's.
The rim of the cup is slightly scalloped with a tad of gold. The outer rim has gold hand painted crescent going completely around the cup. The handle is dainty and also include gold etching. It is 4" high and 3 1/2" across including handle.
If you like hand painted dainty cups...you will enjoy the beauty of this dainty cup.
